This is all that fills the news these days. Well, this Christmas, I'd like to bring to your attention a story that appeared in the papers a few weeks ago; a story you may have missed in the avalanche of hate news that fills the print these days.
It is a story of love. It is a story of wanting to show someone just how much they mean to you. It is a story of the true spirit of Christmas.
Above all, it is not a story. It is a real life incident.
This is the story I would like you all to read.
I wonder how many of us are capable of such superhuman acts... such acts of compassion that can replenish the shaky foundation that presently hold this heavy being called unconditional love.
Truth be told, I didn't want anyone to read just another sad or angry post this Christmas... I wanted you all to go away happy from here.
