100HappyDays: Days 6-12

Dr Roshan Radhakrishnan

(Read the lines below in a 'Tv sitcom voice over' with a deep, slow, menacing male voice)
Previously... on Godyears...
And now... on to today's episode... (You can start reading in your normal voice again. Nice of you to obey me. You really shouldn't obey everything people ask you to do on the internet, though...)

Anyway, believe it or not, I actually had 10 straight happy days without a bolt of lightning 'unexpectedly' hitting me or a stray dog I petted getting acute rabies and biting me. Of course, before we pop the champagne on that note, I would like to point out that there are still 88 days left to go. Still, it's good to see so many people taking this up... makes for some hilarious and heartfelt moments of happiness instead of the dreary stuff we read in the news.

Without further adieu, I present to you Days 6-12 of my #100HappyDays Challenge.

Jan 9 (Day 6) - Happiness is when you are cribbing with a fellow blogger about how the two of us never win anything any more and then getting a message (ironically, from her itself) telling me I won something.
Somedays I wake up and really wish my name was Ankita Singhal. Ever have one of those days? No? Only me?

Jan 10 (Day 7) - Happiness is not having the dinner you bought till 5 hours later because you're so busy having fun laughing on the phone.
Technically, laughing is the only exercise my body gets so
I had to wait an hour after that before having food!

Jan 11 (Day 8) - Happiness is when you come back after pulling an all-nighter (plus 'morninger') in the operation theater and you find your soup mug making faces at you.
P.S. Does anyone else make instant soups using Maggi cubes or am I the only one?
Why is it only I get the mugs that are possessed by evil demons that stare back at me?

Jan 12 (Day 9) - Is finally inaugurating a pen you were given by a close friend during your first book launch in 2012... by noting down the stories due for publication in 2014.
I do plan on filling that page by the end of the year... just need to plagiarize some stories from other talented bloggers and hold them hostage till the story gets published in my name.

Jan 13 (Day 10) - having fun watching Psych; one seriously underrated show. For those who haven't seen it, think of it this way- Scrubs humour meets Mentalist analysis techniques to solve "Castle" style crimes.
Also totally in love with the title song

Jan 14 (Day 11) - is being confused seeing the abnormally high page views for a post in your blog and eventually realizing that it's because the movie review you wrote appears on the first page of popular internet search engines, higher than even regular news websites.

Next aim: defeat that weirdo called Mr Wik.E.Pedia who keeps coming above me in all search engines! Pffft... who names their kid Wik.E.Pedia anyway??
Sincerely - Roshan RamanathaLingappaAyengeraReddyJohnyBravoBoobalot#$%* Radhakrishnan... the Third.

Jan 15 (Day 12) - So my blog, Godyears got nominated in the Blogadda Blog Awards under the 'Creative Writing' category.
(P.S. This is the part where I ask you to go to the link  here and click the 'Like' or 'Tweet' button at the bottom of THAT PAGE to vote for me, by the way.)
(P.P.S. We can discuss bribes here.. not at the site. Name your price!)
To summarize: Me give bribe. You go vote.

That's it from me. Hope you enjoyed. Have a great week. Take care.

    1. You get them in most stores.. just say 'maggi cubes'.. but they're ideally meant to lend flavour to curries, not as a soup..
