Of Man & Dog

No matter how close we are to another person, few human relationships are as free from strife, disagreement, and frustration as is the relationship you have with a good dog. Few human beings give of themselves to another as a dog gives of itself. I also suspect that we cherish dogs because their unblemished souls make us wish - consciously or unconsciously - that we were as innocent as they are, and make us yearn for a place where innocence is universal and where the meanness, the betrayals, and the cruelties of this world are unknown.”

    1. Trust me... having a lovable dog will change your live entirely... ask any dog lover. No other animal, not even your own flesh and blood, can love you so unconditionally...

  4. Your father bears an uncanny resemblance to my former neighbour who is a veterinary surgeon and has his own pet dogs! I recall him telling me about the therapeutic effects of having a pet dog.

  5. Awesome pictures. The fact that there are very few relationships which can boast of the unconditional love that exist between a dog and his non canine friend.
I so wish to get a dog, the only thing which probably stops me is the travelling nature of my job and the fact that I don't want to close him within the confines of an apartment htrough out the day.
