Words on My Door #1LinerWeds

This plaque has been on the door of my bedroom for over 21 years now.

I've passed by it easily more than five thousand times,
thus heaping blasphemy upon the first and last lines;
the three in between I follow religiously though.

This post is based on prompts by Hugh's Weekly Photo Challenge (This week's theme: something Vintage) & Linda Hill's One Liner Wednesday)

Let me know what you think.

  1. What a lovely one! 21 years? wow! I left home when I was 17 but sometimes I wish what would I see when I go back to my room from that that time. Those posters, the books, a dried rose in books - gosh! I feel like writing a post ;)

    1. Technically, I left at the end of the last century for my mbbs and after that always only landed up at home in between holidays. But I realized this plaque has always been on my door and I distinctly remember where and when I bought it. Found many books as well.. None of the old poster collection

  11. Lovely quote - like having a constant reminder of how little time we have to do good and how we should make the most of it. You must have been pretty young when you put that up. I've never lived in the same place for 21 years.

    1. I was 14.. and I have been all around the country since then. This has just remained on my door wall whenever I came back.
